The virtue for the month of February is:

HONOR- letting someone know you see how valuable they really are.

"Love each other deeply.  Honor others more than yourselves."

Romans 12:10, NirV

Our Bottom Line and Basic Truths for the Month of February:

Week 1:  Honor those who are overlooked.  I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Week 2:  Honor others more than yourself.  I need to make the wise choice.

Week 3:  Honor those who are over you. I can trust God no matter what.

Week 4:  Honor God in front of others.  I can trust God no matter what.

Here are some ways we want to partner with you.

Our lives are busy.  As parents, we want to prioritize our children.  We want to do everything

we can to invest in our relationship with them, to guide them developmentally and to help them grow

in their faith in Christ.  But it’s just so easy to get caught up in the urgent day-to-day business of life.

This Parent Cue App provides you with simple CUES throughout the week that remind you
to pause and make the most of everyday moments.

Every month, Parent Cue will focus on one specific virtue, or life application.   You will receive
prompts for videos, activities, discussion questions and more that will help you connect with your child around this one key virtue.  These prompts will come in the form of Drive Time videos, Hang Time activities, and Meal Time discussion starters to help you fit them into the day-to-day moments of your routine.  There’s even a section just for you called Parent Time that’s filled with parent blogs, podcasts and more.

Cueing All Parents!

CUE Box and Studio252.tv have so many great resources for my family.  We love the Meal Time

Discussion guides, but we don’t always have dinner at home, and I forget to take those guides

with me.  And my sons love watching the videos online. I have often wished I had those when we’re

sitting in traffic or hanging out between ball games.  The other day, we were in a brainstorming

meeting and thought up a solution: a belt clip for the CUE Box!  That way you could easily hook

your CUE Box right on your belt or purse and have it with you everywhere.  You would always be

ready to make the most of those every day moments with your kids.  But as we tested it out, it

seemed a bit awkward and, I’m sorry to say, looked pretty dorky.   Maybe a CUE Box belt clip

wasn’t the answer.  If only there was a way to keep the basics of the valuable CUE Box

resources with me all the time—on some kind of device that I always carry with me . . .

The Parent Cue App is born!

The Parent Cue App offers resources for those every day moments that happen away from home:

  • Drive Time offers weekly videos retelling Bible stories and music that you and your kid will love.
  • Hang Time gives weekly activities your family will enjoy and fun monthly videos.
  • Meal Time provides discussion starters for kids and parents to help you take conversations a bit deeper.
  • Parent Time is full of insight, information, and encouragement just for parents.

All of the content on the Parent Cue app lines up with the 252 Basics lessons they are already

going through at church, allowing you as parents to continue the conversation all week long.

You can also receive a daily push notification that reminds you to use their Parent Cue and

connect with your kids. So, go to the Apple App Store or Android Market and pick up your

Parent Cue for only $1.99.
